Oklahoma’s last two Big 12 basketball games could have big implications on the conference race.

The Sooners close out the regular season at Iowa State on March 2 and at home against Kansas on March 7.

The Big 12 released its men’s basketball schedule Thursday, making Oklahoma’s schedule complete.

The Jayhawks have won the last 10 Big 12 regular-season championships, but the Sooners, Iowa State and Texas are among teams that have a chance to put an end to Kansas’ streak.

All of OU’s conference games will be televised on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPNews.

The Sooners open Big 12 play at home against Baylor on Jan. 3 before heading to Texas on Jan. 5.

Both Bedlam games will be in the books by the end of January, with the Sooners hosting Oklahoma State on Jan. 17 and traveling to Stillwater on Jan. 31.

The Sooners return four starters from last year’s team that made the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season under coach Lon Kruger.

Those starters include junior shooting guard Buddy Hield, who led the Sooners with 16.5 points per game last season, and Ryan Spangler. Spangler led the Sooners with 9.3 rebounds per game.

Among the newcomers for OU are junior college transfer Dinjiyl Walker, a guard, and a trio of inside players — Dante Buford, Khadeem Lattin and Jamuni McNeace.
