Oklahoma is firmly in the NCAA Tournament, but the Sooners could improve their position between now and Selection Sunday. Not all of OU’s fate is in its own hands, though. There are other teams whose results could affect the Sooners’ ultimate seeding. Here’s a few games to keep an eye on this week:

•Louisville at SMU, Wednesday (6 p.m., CBS Sports)

The Cardinals have just five losses but lack of marquee wins is a concern. A win here could boost Louisville’s resume.

Oklahoma State at Iowa State, Saturday (1 p.m., ESPN)

The Sooners could ultimately move ahead of Iowa State.

Texas at Texas Tech, Saturday (3 p.m., ESPNNews)

OU figures to be ahead of the Longhorns, but Texas doesn’t have the sub-50 losses that the Sooners do.

North Carolina at Duke, Saturday (8 p.m., ESPN)

Shelby Mast and Jerry Palm have the Sooners ahead of UNC right now, but the Tar Heels have won 11 in a row and a sweep over the Blue Devils could push them ahead of OU.
