HARRAH

Bridge fall was accident
The 30-foot fall of a 17-year-old from a bridge near Harrah was an accident, the Oklahoma City sheriff’s office said in a news release. The girl, whose name was not released, said she had been drinking with her boyfriend, Joshua McCaulley, 19, who was arrested on a DUI complaint, and another person at a house when she learned her car was missing about 12:40 a.m. Tuesday. She ran to a bridge on U.S. 62 and saw vehicles driving toward her, misjudged her position on the bridge and jumped "for safety,” the news release states.

No charges in dad’s death
Prosecutors said the shooting death of a man by his daughter near Brent was justified and no charges will be filed. Assistant District Attorney John David Luton said Tuesday that Felicia Foreman, 22, was defending her mother when she shot and killed Keith Foreman, 47, on June 18. Keith Foreman’s wife, Shelli Foreman, told investigators her husband terrorized her for about four hours with guns and knives and wrapped a cord around her neck. Shelli Foreman said her daughter arrived during the incident. When Keith Foreman forced her to the ground with a gun at her head, Felicia Foreman picked up another gun and shot.
