Oklahoma budget remains in deadlock over nutrition center funds

Senate Democrats and Republicans remained in a budget stalemate Tuesday over the funding of senior nutrition centers.

Democrats on Monday voted against two bills that would free up cash for supplemental budget amendments to a handful of agencies to avoid furloughs. The bills did not include additional money to fund the senior nutrition program, which was cut in November.
