Tailwind develops Pinterest tool

Oklahoma City-based Tailwind, producer of a Pinterest analytics and marketing suite, has released Discover, the first targeted marketing tool for Pinterest. Discover is designed to provide businesses with a more “holistic view” of their customers, community and brand presence, the company said. Brands will be able to see all content related to a campaign in one place, including pins directly from the brand's website, repins from their profile and recent pins about related topics.

Gladstone acquires Head Country

Gladstone Investment Corp. has acquired Head Country Inc., the Ponca City-based maker of barbecue sauce. Gladstone Investment, together with certain members of the executive management team, provided the capital consisting of preferred and common equity, senior debt and a revolving credit facility. Head Country was founded in 1980 produces a variety of BBQ sauces and seasonings. “Gladstone Investment is excited about partnering with this talented and experienced management team. Head Country has an outstanding brand with a loyal customer base, and we look forward to supporting management as they continue to build on that track record,” said Kyle Largent, Managing director of Gladstone Investment.
