Tyler Outdoor buys billboard

Tyler Outdoor Advertising has purchased the digital billboard at Interstate 44 and Kelley and other Oklahoma City assets from Whistler Sign Co. Terms were not disclosed. “This acquisition will be a strategic addition to our digital billboard network in Oklahoma City as well as enhance Tyler Outdoor’s interstate presence in the market,” General Sales Manager Kris Glenn said. Tyler Outdoor Advertising, part of Tyler Media, was founded in 1965 by Ralph Tyler, and is still a local and family owned business by sons Ty and Tony Tyler. Tyler Media has more than 1,400 outdoor advertising displays throughout the Oklahoma City metro, Stillwater and Tulsa.

OSU, coalition plan free food day

Oklahoma State University’s Robert M. Kerr Food & Agricultural Products Center is helping to support local food companies as part of Made in Oklahoma Month. The center is partnering with University Dining Services and the Made in Oklahoma Coalition to support Made in Oklahoma Day on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the OSU Student Union Plaza. Oklahoma companies representing the Made in Oklahoma Coalition will distribute complimentary samples of products, including meat, desserts, beverages and condiments.
