OKC Indian Clinic awarded grant
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma have awarded Oklahoma City Indian Clinic a $55,000 grant to help fund Project POWER: Fitness, a program designed to provide opportunities for wellness, health education, exercise and recreation to American Indian families in central Oklahoma. The program includes many activities, including an after-school program, rock climbing, garden club, sports clinics, family bike night and family fun night. Oklahoma City Indian Clinic staff members care for more than 18,000 patients from more than 220 federally recognized tribes every year.

Sonic Corp. names new executive
Sonic Corp. has named restaurant consultant John Budd as its new chief development and strategy officer. In his new role at Sonic, Budd will oversee franchise sales, real estate and construction for the company. Budd will report to Sonic CEO Cliff Hudson. Budd is a restaurant consultant from Boston Consulting Group, where he served as a partner and managing director. Before joining the Boston group, Budd worked at General Electric in a variety of roles.
