IBC Bank makes holiday brighter
IBC Bank's annual Brighter Christmas program prompted the company's employees to give time, toys and money to causes across Oklahoma. IBC Bank's Norman branch partnered with Compassion Pointe's annual Boots and Blankets program to encourage employees and customers to donate gently used blankets, coats, gloves, hats, and warm shoes. The strong response resulted in the need for four complete pickups from the bank during the three-week collection drive. Branches in the Oklahoma City area participated in Putnam City Schools Foundation's Care Share project by adopting a family. The Care Share program takes on the role of Santa during the holidays, ensuring that no child goes without a gift to unwrap on Christmas morning. IBC employees at 19 branches in the Tulsa area also adopted a family through Family and Children's Services' Holiday Assistance program. Employees at IBC branches from Duncan to Sand Springs to Ardmore also participated in the Brighter Christmas program. “While our dedication to the communities we serve lasts all year, the holiday season is a special time to reach out to make a difference in the lives of those in need,” said Tom Travis, president and CEO of IBC Bank-Oklahoma. “‘It's a Brighter Christmas' is one of our favorite programs and a great way to end the year on a high note.”
