Express Employment Professionals

Oklahoma City-based staffing company Express Employment Professionals did $2.3 billion in franchise sales in 2012, up 10 percent from $2.1 billion in 2011. Express franchisees' temporary staffing sales have risen 101 percent since 2009, the privately held company reported this week. Express helped more than 367,000 workers find employment in 2012, up from 341,000 the previous year.

MidFirst Bank

MidFirst Bank reported earnings of $275 million in 2012, up 7 percent from $257 million the previous year. The bank posted an $81 million profit for the fourth quarter of the year, up 42 percent from the previous year. MidFirst increased its regulatory capital and reserves to $1.5 billion in 2012, a $7.9 million increase over 2011.
