Talk on D.C. set for Thursday

“A Visitor’s Guide to an Alien Planet: Washington D.C.” will be the topic of the speech by Wall Street Journal Columnist John Fund on Thursday at the OKC Town Hall Lecture Series. The talk will be at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 222 NW 15 Street. Fund became an editorial page writer for the Wall Street Journal in 1986 and was a member of the journal’s editorial board from 1995 to 2001. Comtech, Archer to merge

Oklahoma City-based direct mail company Comtech said Monday it merging with local printer Archer Printing. Archer employees will office at Comtech’s headquarters at 117 East Hill Street. “This joining of forces is a win-win. We will be able to offer Archer customers the extended services of Comtech, yet they will still receive the customer service and veteran printing knowledge from Archer’s 60-plus-years of experience in the business,” Comtech founder and CEO Michael Morrison said. “We are equally excited to bring Archer’s decades of printing experience to our customers.”
