SafeLand USA will offer class
Enrollment is open for a SafeLand USA Awareness class at Oklahoma City Community College. Classes are $150 per participant and will provide safety awareness to oil and natural gas industry professionals. The next two classes will be Feb. 13 and Feb. 27, from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Topics will include incident reporting and investigation, accident prevention, hand safety, walking working surfaces, job safety analysis, material handling, first-aid/CPR/AED and Hazard communications. SafeLand USA is a volunteer organization used to monitor and improve orientation standards. Enrollment and other information is available at 682-7855 or jclaybon@occc.edu.

MAGELLAN MIDSTREAM PARTNERS LP
TULSA — Magellan Midstream Partners LP on Tuesday reported record net income of $153.8 million, or 68 cents a unit, for the fourth quarter. That is up from $110.2 million, or 49 cents a unit, in the same period of last year. “Magellan produced exceptional returns during 2012, generating record operating and financial results from our current assets, launching new crude oil opportunities that solidify our position as a key storage and logistics provider in the crude oil space and increasing cash distributions to our investors by 18 percent for the year,” CEO Michael Mears said. “We enter 2013 poised for an exciting year, with our solid business model, strong balance sheet and attractive fee-based growth projects expected to provide significant benefit for our investors and customers for years to come.”
