Hobby Lobby plans Yukon store

Hobby Lobby Stores on Tuesday announced plans for a 55,000 square-foot store in Yukon. The Oklahoma City company said it has signed a lease and that construction will begin soon at 1622 Garth Brooks Boulevard in the Target Shopping Center. The location will be Hobby Lobby's 21st store and is expected to create 35 to 50 jobs paying $14 per hour full time and $9.50 for part-time employees. “Hobby Lobby is thrilled to add our store to this vibrant crafting community,” said John Schumacher, assistant.

Zahl-Ford is now ZFI Engineering

Zahl-Ford Inc., 8411 S Walker Ave., a structural engineering services company in business for more than 30 years, has changed its name to ZFI Engineering Co. “While we have enjoyed our history, the growth and future of the firm is leading us to a transformation,” the company said. “In addition to the new name, we also have a new look to our corporate brand. Ben Stein to speak in OKC

Ben Stein, economist, author and pitchman, will be a featured speaker of Oklahoma State University's Executive Management Briefings on Feb. 5. Stein will present “America's Business is Business — The Business of Hope and the Human Spirit” from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.
