Hall of fame inducts car dealer

Local car dealer Julian K. Codding recently was inducted into the National Alliance of Buy-Here, Pay-Here Dealers Used Car Hall of Fame. Codding was the winner of the 2008 Oklahoma Independent Auto Dealers Association Quality Dealer of the Year award and a nominee for the National Independent Auto Dealers Association National Quality Dealer of the Year award in 2008.

Cassidy Financial earns award

Cassidy Financial Group Inc. earned the 2013 Outstanding Office Award from United Planners Financial Services at its annual partners conference in Phoenix. It is the fourth time the company, led by President Diann Cassidy, has received the award.

Employees to compete in challenge

Employees from nearly 50 Oklahoma companies will compete this weekend in athletic events and raise money for charity at the 26th annual OU Medicine Corporate Challenge. The three-day event is the largest business-to-business athletic competition in the Oklahoma City area, with 47 different companies participating. Last year, the event raised more than $55,000 for the UCO Endeavor Games, a competition for athletes with disabilities. This year, organizers hope to surpass that goal. “The Corporate Challenge provides a wonderful forum for businesses and their employees to compete against each other and raise money for a great cause,” said Kelli Hayward, OU Medicine event coordinator. “No matter where they finish in the standings, everyone has a great time.”
