Enerlabs to purchase testing lab

The Oklahoma City-based energy and environmental laboratory company Enerlabs Inc. has signed a deal to buy a third testing lab for $600,000. The new laboratory specializes in hydrocarbon testing. The deal is expected to close within the next 90 days.

Atlas Sales opens new office

Commercial air conditioning equipment distributor Atlas Sales & Rentals Inc. has opened a full-service office in Oklahoma City. The new office is at 1300A Cornell Parkway.



New Source Energy Partners LP on Wednesday reported a net loss of $6.7 million, or 99 cents a unit, since its initial public offering in February through the end of the first quarter. New Source attributed the loss to $7.7 million in equity-based compensation and $5.3 million in derivative losses during the quarter. Those losses were partially offset by a $12.1 million income tax benefit due to a change in tax status. New Source also reported net production of 3,141 barrels of oil equivalent a day. New Source's board declared a prorated cash distribution of 27.417 cents a unit for the first quarter.
