MATRIX SERVICE CO.

Matrix Service Co. earned $4.7 million, or 18 cents a share, in the just-completed first quarter, up from $3.5 million, or 13 cents a share, in the same period of last year, the company reported Thursday. “Our performance in the quarter is consistent with our strategic focus and we are seeing significant business activity across all operating segments,” CEO John R. Hewitt said.
