$9.17M Tinker contract awarded
California-based Wyle has been awarded a $9.17 million contract to provide services for the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex at Tinker Air Force Base. Under the one-year contract with four option years, Wyle's technicians will work to ensure that inspection equipment remains in good operating condition. “Wyle offers a full spectrum of nondestructive inspection capabilities from laboratory conceptual feasibility analysis to integrated, qualified and fielded capability,” said Tony Todd, Wyle's program manager.
Ethics students to graduate
On Sept. 12, Moore-Norman Technology Center will celebrate its first class graduation in the Smart Works Ethics curriculum, developed with the Sooner Human Resources Society and the Central Oklahoma Workforce Investment Board. State Education Secretary Janet Barresi will address the students and bestow their certificates of completion. On Sept. 25, Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb is scheduled to address the students in the second Smart Work Ethics class graduation.
