→The Sisters of Mercy Health System names Judy Akins Mercy’s vice president of marketing. She will now divide her time between Oklahoma City and St. Louis. Akins previously served as the vice president of marketing and corporate communications for Mercy Health System of Oklahoma. The Sisters of Mercy Health System operates hospitals, physician practices, outpatient clinics, health plans and related health and human services in a seven-state area including Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.

→ OU Physicians names Dr. Desiree

Rahman psychiatrist. She is board-certified in psychiatry and is a medical doctor specifically trained in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. Rahman completed her residency at the University of Illinios at Chicago.

→ Oseco promotes Jay Smith to vice president of finance. He will be responsible for strategic planning, leading financial and accounting activities, and managing the company’s information technology personnel. Before being promoted Smith worked as a controller for the company where he was responsible for improving financial performance and reporting.

→ FMB Mortgage promotes Sue Drumm to vice president. She has been with the mortgage company for more than 11 years and is currently in charge of operations. FMB Mortgage is a division of Farmers and Merchants Bank of Crescent.

Services names Ben Oglesby senior project consultant. He has more than 10 years of public finance experience. Oglesby worked with a regional investment banking firm

→Edmond Medical Center names Carole Byler registered nurse in the Autumn Life Center, Anita Pyle registered nurse in the emergency room, Shannon Mashore registered nurse in the medical/surgical area and Lorie Thrasher registered nurse in the operating room. EMC has more than 300 physicians on staff representing more than 50 specialities.

→ Professional Oklahoma Educators elects Esther Bell president, Marsha Strunk vice president, Carol Cumbie treasurer and Brenda Asher secretary. Professional Oklahoma Educators is a nonunion, nonpartisan organization serving more than 4,300 Oklahoma educators.

→ Kirkpatrick Oil Co. names Eric

Cummins district exploration manager, Kevin Preston business development manager, Cindy Birdsong chief financial officer and Nichole Buckner geologist. Kirkpatrick Oil Co., founded in 1950, is a family-owned oil and natural gas exploration and production company, with assets primarily in the Mid-Continent region and Permian Basin.
