The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation has hired Dr. Aikaterini (Katherine) Thanou, a board-certified geriatric and internal medicine specialist and rheumatologist. Thanou earned her medical degree at the University of Athens, Greece. She sees lupus patients in OMRF's clinic.
Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma names Dr. Jennifer A. Mulhollan its medical director. Mulhollan is a board-certified pathologist who received her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. She has been in private practice for more than two decades, serving hospitals, multispecialty clinics and independent reference laboratories in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Dr. Theodore Wagener, a clinical psychologist specializing in behavioral sleep medicine, has established his practice with OU Children's Physicians. He also has been named the director of the Pediatric Behavioral Sleep Medicine Clinic, the only pediatric behavioral sleep medicine clinic in the state, and is an assistant professor for the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and a research scholar with the Peggy and Charles Stephenson Cancer Center and Oklahoma Tobacco Research Center. Wagener completed a clinical psychology/behavioral medicine internship at Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Providence, R.I. He earned doctorate and master's degrees in clinical psychology/behavioral medicine from Oklahoma State University.
Also at OU Children's Physicians is Dr. Christopher “Topher” Barnett, a dentist who specializes in family dentistry. Barnett completed his general practice residency at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center. He earned his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
YNB named Becky Day vice president in the real estate department of the Yukon bank. Day has 22 years of banking/lending experience and 20 years of experience in mortgage lending.
St. Anthony Hospital has hired Dr. Luz H. Vyas as an internal medicine physician St. Anthony Physicians Group Primary Care North, 6201 N Santa Fe. Vyas earned her medical degree from Universidad del Sinu, Cartagena, Colombia, and she completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
Sunbeam Family Services names Gail Huneryager to its board of directors. She is director of business development for the law firm Crowe & Dunlevy.
Legacy Bank promotes Stacey Jennings to internal auditor. Jennings joined the bank almost five years ago in its support center.

The foundation empowers pre-engineering students by informing them of the true nature of the field, encourages skill development needed to succeed in the field, and offers programs and scholarships to ignite their creativity.
Oklahoma Heart Hospital Physicians has hired Dr. Soni Zacharias, an interventional cardiology specialist. He will work at the south campus and at the hospital's offices in Midwest City. Zacharias previously was with OU Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the Kottayam Medical College at Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam, India.
McAfee & Taft has hired Afton Shaw as a paralegal for lawyers engaged in commercial litigation and arbitration, commercial law, bankruptcy and creditors' rights, and employment litigation in the firm's Oklahoma City office.
