Affiliated with the Churches of Christ, Oklahoma Christian has 14 academic departments in three colleges — arts and sciences, biblical studies and professional studies. Students can choose from more than 60 majors and 30 additional areas of study.

The college also offers a fast-track MBA program, along with Master of Ministry and Master of Divinity programs.

This year's graduation marks the 10-year anniversary of OC's MBA program. In that time, more than 1,000 students have graduated, with many of those working in the Oklahoma City area today, college administrators say.

The university continues to grow in other ways as well.

This fall, the school's Noble Science wing will open with new classrooms, labs and faculty offices, Goad said.

The university in July held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Bobby Murcer Indoor Training Facility for the school's baseball team. Officials hope construction will be finished in September.
