An advance screening of an inspirational movie about the life of the late Rich Mullins will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hardeman Auditorium on the Oklahoma Christian University campus, 2501 E Memorial Road, in Oklahoma City.

Mullins was a contemporary Christian singer who wrote the popular worship song “Awesome God.”

He died in 1997 in a car accident, but his life story is captured in the new film “Ragamuffin — The True Story of Rich Mullins.”

Mullins organized a group of musicians to record the album “A Liturgy, a Legacy, and a Ragamuffin Band” in 1993.

The band was inspired by Brennan Manning’s book “The Ragamuffin Gospel.”

Oklahoma Christian and The House FM Radio are hosting an advance screening.

Tickets are $10 at the door or they can be ordered at www.itickets.com/thehousefm.
