Oklahoma Christian University to host 'My Black America' discussion
Oklahoma Christian University will host “My Black America,” a Black History Month panel discussion, at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 23 in the Garvey Center on the OC campus.
Oklahoma Christian University's Black Student Union invites the public to a free Black History Month panel forum at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the Garvey Center, 2501 E Memorial Road.

The event is titled “My Black America.”
Panelists include Oklahoma City Thunder television personality Grant Long; Wendell Edwards, KOCO-5 news anchor; Monica Brooks, Dallas Cowboys Stadium human resources director; Lawrence Murray, Oklahoma Christian professor; and Candace Owens, Oklahoma Christian admissions counselor. Gary Jones, the university's multicultural and service learning coordinator, will serve as moderator.
