Oklahoma church continues Bible school at Edmond-area parks

First Baptist Church of Edmond will host vacation Bible school at several Edmond area parks just as it did last summer. The Edmond church’s Bible school gatherings are among those being offered during the 2014 vacation Bible school season.

Among this year’s vacation Bible school events are Bible school in the park activities planned by First Baptist Church of Edmond. For the second year, the church at 1300 E 33rd St. will offer vacation Bible school outside the walls of the building. The moving Bible schools will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 14 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 19 at several parks in Edmond. Crafts, games, skits and hot dogs will be offered. Bible school activities will be offered June 14 at Oak Ridge Estates Park, S Vista Lane and Center Lane; Meadow Lakes Park, Meadow Lake Drive and Winding Lane; and Ted Anderson Park, 2405 S Rankin. Activities offered July 19 will be at Westborough Park, Ryan Way and St. Christopher Drive; Penick Park, N Fretz Avenue and Wayne Street; and Centennial Park, Whispering Creek Drive and Shadybrook Lane.
