Putnam North band will hold fundraiser

The Putnam City North High School band will hold a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 2 at Putnam City High School, 11800 N Rockwell. Tickets are $5 for the all-you-can-eat buffet. There also will be a silent auction that includes an autographed Russell Westbrook jersey. The auction ends at 12:30 p.m. There also will be an arts and crafts show at the school from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Parents group sets meeting

The Edmond Chapter of Parents Helping Parents will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Oklahoma Blood Institute's private meeting room at 33rd and Broadway Extension. Art Christie will be guest speaker, and his topic is “Moving Beyond the Myths About Treatment and Recovery.” Christie also will discuss the continuum of care, treatment options for the family and common misunderstandings that prevent healthy recovery.
