5 hurt during police chase

Five people, including an 11-year-old girl, were hurt about 10:30 a.m. Saturday in a head-on collision between a minivan and a car that was being chased by Norman police. Police said a car being driven by Charles Holbert II, 35, of Norman, was fleeing officers when it crossed the centerline on Classen Boulevard, south of 12th Avenue SE, and collided with a minivan. The driver of the minivan, Michael Kihega, 35, of Norman, and his 11-year-old passenger were taken to Norman Regional Hospital with what police said were not life-threatening injuries. Holbert and his two passengers, Sarah Williams, 29, and a 23-year-old woman, both of Norman, also were taken to the hospital for treatment. Holbert and Williams were arrested on drug complaints, police said.

Man dies after fight

A man died after he was stabbed during a fight in a nightclub parking lot, Oklahoma City police said. Police were called about 1:35 a.m. Saturday on a report of eight or nine people involved in a fight outside The Office nightclub, 5929 N May, said police Sgt. John Stacy. One person was stabbed and later died of the injuries, Stacy said. No arrests had been made as of Saturday evening. The club's doors were locked Saturday afternoon. The club occupies part of the first floor of an office building in a busy shopping center.
