ODOT plans free workshop

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation's Small Business Enterprise Program will present a free workshop on construction safety and bonding from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday — lunch on your own — at Francis Tuttle Technology Center's Rockwell Campus, 12777 N Rockwell Ave., Room D1870A. Seating is limited so preregistration is required by calling Victoria Armstrong at 522-3978 or sending an email to Varmstrong@ODOT.org. Dee Dee Madison, of Sherwood Construction, will review the basics of a safety program, requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and record keeping including OSHA's Form 300 Log. Dillon Rosenhamer, of Insurica, will explain public contract bond requirements.
