RW Jonathan Cheechoo
Stats: 45 games including playoffs (38 points; 15 goals)
Analysis: Cheechoo led the NHL in goals with the San Jose Sharks seven years ago. The 32-year-old veteran has lost a step but is invaluable in the locker room and can still find the net. Teamed with Mark Arcobello and Philippe Cornet, Cheechoo anchors one of two No. 1 caliber lines.
D Brett Clark

Analysis: Clark, who has played in 689 NHL games, brought much needed experience to a young defense that struggled at times the first half of the season. Clark also supplied some blue-line offense. He signed with the Minnesota Wild three weeks later.
D Randy Jones
Stats: 28 games including playoffs. (6 points, 5 assists)
Analysis: The 31-year-old veteran with 365 games in the NHL provides blue line savvy. Jones helped solidify the defense. He's a key member of a penalty kill unit that showed vast improvement the last two months.
D Garrett Stafford
Stats: 18 games including playoffs (6 points with OKC; 22 assists with Hershey).
Analysis: A veteran defenseman who has played in 610 AHL games, Stafford was obtained in a trade for fourth-line center Dane Byers. Stafford was the final piece of a quality six-man defensive rotation. He also is a factor on special teams.
C C.J. Stretch
Stats: 27 games including playoffs (16 points, 9 goals).
Analysis: Stretch, who has four playoff goals, was signed earlier in the season, released and re-signed the final week of the regular season. When Anton Lander was sidelined in the last series Stretch took Lander's spot on the other No. 1 line alongside Teemu Hartikainen and Toni Rajala.
