Scouting report: Following the end of the NHL lockout, the new-look Barons have lost four consecutive games. OKC collected just one standings point on a recent three-game homestand. ... The Barons are getting three players back from Edmonton in forward Chris VandeVelde and defensemen Colten Teubert and Taylor Fedun. But they lost a key piece Thursday when Edmonton called up goaltender Yann Danis. The Oilers assigned goalie Tyler Bunz to Oklahoma City from the ECHL's Stockton Thunder to fill Danis' roster spot. Danis is insurance as Oilers backup goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin recovers from hip surgery. ... OKC's leading scorer is Mark Arcobello (32 points) was named to the AHL All-Star team ... The Barons have won five of seven meetings with the Rampage, but players now in Edmonton scored 18 of the 22 goals in those seven games . ... Edmond native Matt Donovan was named to the AHL All-Star team. The defenseman plays for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, the affiliate of the New York Islanders.
