Scouting report: The Barons (1-1-0) will play San Antonio (1-1-0) 12 times during the regular season. They're familiar with each other, too. They met in the second-round of last year's playoffs. OKC won the series 4-1 to advance to the Western Conference finals. ... The Barons split two games with Lake Erie last weekend in Cleveland. The Monsters, a penalty-killing machine early in the season, are off to a 2-1 start. They own wins over OKC and Toronto, last year's Western Conference finalists. All four of OKC's games with Lake Erie are scheduled this month. The Monsters will play Oklahoma City at 7 p.m. Tuesday, also at the Cox Center. It will be the last time the teams meet this season unless they are paired in the playoffs next spring.
