ABBOTSFORD, British Columbia, Canada — The Oklahoma City Barons lost again Saturday night, falling 4-2 to the Heat in Abbotsford.
Curtis Hamilton scored both of Oklahoma City's goals.
Abbotsford goalie Joni Ortio saved 32 of 34 shots.
Corban Knight, Lane MacDermid, Markus Granlund and Sven Baertschi had goals for the Heat, which also won Friday's game against the Barons, 5-1.
Before the game, the Barons recalled forward Austin Fyten from the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads. Fyten signed with the Barons last summer but was assigned to Idaho on Nov. 26. Fyten played in eight games with the Steelheads, scoring 10 points (5-5-10).
Next, the Barons will return home to Cox Convention Center to face the Texas Stars at 6 p.m. Tuesday. After the New Year's Eve game, they'll face the Rampage in San Antonio at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
