Fedun, who has four assists, identifies with Beck's injury. Fedun missed what was supposed to be his rookie season when he shattered his femur on a similar play last year in an Edmonton Oilers preseason game.

“It really makes you uncomfortable when something like that happens,” Fedun said. “It puts things into perspective. It almost takes your mind away from the game a little bit. Hopefully, we get some good news (on Beck).”

ANOTHER SATURDAY CAR GIVEAWAY

The Barons are giving away a dozen vehicles this year, including every Saturday home game. The Barons already have given away a Jeep Liberty Latitude, Dodger Challenge and GMC Sierra. At Saturday's game 20 finalists will have a chance to win a GMC Acadia mini van.

OIL SPILLS ...

Milwaukee had a goal waved off late in the second period when referee Trevor Hanson blew his whistle even though the puck was still in play. The Admirals scored a second later in a wild scramble in front Danis, but the goal did not count. ... Team captain Josh Green celebrated his 35th birthday on Friday. Green remains sidelined with sore ribs he suffered early in the season.
