SYRACUSE IN AHL FINALS

Syracuse has won the Eastern Conference finals and will host Games 1 & 2 of the American Hockey League finals this weekend. The Crunch, the Tampa Bay Lightning's Triple-A affiliate, is 11-1 in the playoffs. Syracuse has outscored opponents by 31 goals (54-23).

If Oklahoma City wins its series the Barons would host Games 3, 4 and 5 next week, probably on June 13 (Wednesday), June 15 (Friday) and June 16 (Saturday).

OIL SPILLS

Barons forward Anton Lander, sidelined with a knee injury since Game 3 of the Texas series three weeks ago, will make the trip to Grand Rapids. Lander hasn't been ruled out for the final two games of the series. Lander spent much of the season with Edmonton but was reassigned after the Oilers' regular season ended. ... Forward Tanner House, who suffered a concussion in Game 3, didn't suit out and was replaced on the fourth line by Ryan Martindale. House won't make the trip to Grand Rapids. Triston Grant, who applied the hit that knocked House unconscious, did not receive a suspension and played in Game 4. ... C.J. Stretch had a goal disallowed late in the second period for kicking the puck in.
