Barons power play has struggled since the loss of the ‘Fab Four' to Edmonton
The Barons lead the American Hockey League in power play percentage (24.1), but that's misleading.

But in 10 games since the “Fab Four” returned to Edmonton, the Barons power play has been 14.0 percent, which would rank near the bottom of the American Hockey League.
“We have to get to a point where we're running at least 20 percent,” said Barons coach Todd Nelson. “Fourteen is not good enough.”
PAAJARVI SENT TO OKC, LANDER CALLED UP
Edmonton recalled center Anton Lander on Thursday and assigned Magnus Paajarvi to Oklahoma City.
The Oilers' first-round pick in 2009, Paajarvi is expected to join the Barons on Friday. Paajarvi didn't score a point in five games with Edmonton but has scored 42 points in 126 NHL games. Paajarvi has scored 45 points in 71 games the past two seasons with the Barons.
Lander, Edmonton's second-round pick in 2009, has scored 10 points in 39 games with the Barons this season.
DECK SCORES FIRST AHL GOAL
Rookie defenseman Nathan Deck scored his first AHL goal in his 24th game with the Barons.
