Scouting report: The West division rival Checkers have dominated the series, winning all four games, all four of which were played in Oklahoma City. Three games, though, have been decided by one goal — 3-2, 3-2 and 2-1. ... Coming off a season-long seven-game homestand in which they went 4-3, the Barons will play nine of the next 12 games on the road. ... The Barons are led by team captain Anton Lander (24 points in 25 games). ... Roman Horak, obtained in an early-season trade, has 23 points. ... OKC's Taylor Fedun is one of the top scoring defensemen (22 points) in the AHL. ... Goaltender Richard Bachman is coming off back-to-back wins over Milwaukee. Bachman is 0-3 against Charlotte despite a solid 2.16 goals against average and .929 saves percentage. ... Charlotte, the Carolina Hurricanes' affiliate, is in 10th in the Western Conference, one standings point in front of the Barons. ... The Checkers are led by Aaron Palushaj (36 points in 39 games). Palushaj has scored five goals in four games versus OKC. ... With 28 points each Zach Boychuk and Chris Terry are among the AHL's top 40 scorers.
