COOP co-founder JD Merryweather said the full lineup of cans should be available in stores in the summer.

COOP also announced plans to distribute out of state, starting with shipments to Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas in the summer and Texas in the fall.

Brewery co-founder Daniel Mercer said the company has signed a seven-year lease for the building, with an option for two two-year extensions. Mercer said they may stay at the brewery building for the full 11 years, but may also seek a new, larger location closer to the city center if sales volumes and company growth dictate the need for additional expansion.

The brewery, which is located near Council Road and State Highway 152, will be open to the public from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday for an open house and to celebrate COOP’s fifth anniversary.
