Oklahoma City budget fares better than peers’, officials say

Oklahoma City Budget Director Craig Freeman told the city council Tuesday there are no raises, no new services and no new positions in the proposed city budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1.

A "meager” projected increase in revenue of half a percent means the city must tighten its belt to make ends meet, City Manager Jim Couch said.
