The roster for Tuesday's statewide municipal elections is small, but the implications of its outcomes are large — especially for residents of Oklahoma City.
Two members of the city council will defend their seats in two races that together drew 10 total candidates.
Other local municipal races to watch include a city council race in Moore, two council races and a mayoral race in Nicoma Park, and school bond issues at Rose State College and in Cushing.
A complete list of all candidates and questions is included in today's edition.
Live results of all statewide races will be posted at NewsOK.com as they roll in Tuesday.
Here's a look at some other important races:
Rose State College officials are asking district patrons to approve nearly $22 million in bonds to expand and renovate the library, repair the college's swimming pool and upgrade technology equipment.
The largest of a string of projects included in the bonding package is a $7.2 million library expansion.
The so-called Learning Resource Center has taken on several new services and programs, including testing and tutoring, since it was last expanded in 1981, the school's president Terry Britton said.
