Dressing up in a cow costume earned Chick-fil-A customers a free meal Friday during the restaurant chain’s 5th annual Cow Appreciation Day.

And many Oklahoma City residents dressed for the event.

Those costumed head-to-toe received a free value meal; partial costumes, such as cow print shoes or accessories, were worth a free item.

Chick-fil-A even offered a free costume kit on its Web site, with printable cow ears, nose, tail, spots and the company’s trademark "Eat Mor Chikin” sign.
