The United Soccer League’s Pro division announced its Team of the Week on Tuesday and Oklahoma City Energy FC defender Gareth Evans was listed as one of four defenders on the roster.

Evans, who is Vice Captain for Energy FC, played the full 90 minutes in Oklahoma City’s 0-0 draw with Rochester on Sunday. The Wrexham, Wales, native is averaging 85.7 minutes per match this season and has played the full 90 in 12 out of 14 matches this season.

Peabo Doue, who also plays defender, earned honorable mention on the team for Week 14. Doue also played the full 90 against Rochester.

Oklahoma City returns to action this Saturday in a rematch with Sacramento at 7 p.m. at Pribil Stadium. Energy FC hasn’t lost a match in its last five, going 2-0-3.
