Oklahoma City Energy FC: Mikey Lopez recalled by Sporting Kansas City

Oklahoma City Energy FC midfielder Mikey Lopez  scored his first professional goal on Saturday night in a 2-0 win over Sacramento Republic FC. Keep that one in your memory bank soccer fans.

Lopez was recalled by Sporting Kansas City on Monday, Energy FC’s MLS affiliate announced. Lopez appeared in five matches for Energy FC, scoring one goal. The Mission, Texas native tallied one assist in nine appearances for Orlando City, Sporting KC’s other affiliate.

Sporting KC released rookie midfielder Alex Martinez on Monday, making room for Lopez to be recalled. Martinez had one goal this season with the defending MLS champions.
