— An Oklahoma City Fire Department dispatcher is charged in Garvin County District Court with rape, forcible sodomy and lewd acts with a 13-year-old girl.

Jason Lyle Wood, 39, has been a member of the Oklahoma City Fire Department for 13 years and has served 10 years as a dispatcher, Fire Chief Keith Bryant said.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Garvin County, the 13-year-old girl's father contacted a Garvin County sheriff's deputy to make allegations against Wood.

Court records allege Wood and the girl had sex several times since June, including in New Mexico and several Oklahoma cities.

Wood reportedly gave the girl a cellphone to contact her secretly, according to the affidavit, and used his cellphone to take nude photos of the girl and send nude photos of himself to her.

The girl underwent a forensic exam in Norman on Wednesday with a Moore police officer and Garvin County sheriff's deputies present, records show.

Wood was arrested Friday by Oklahoma City police and was transferred to Garvin County jail, where he was being held Monday morning.

Wood could not be reached for comment Monday.
