Oklahoma City firefighters rescue man from burning home

The fire broke out about 2 a.m. Saturday at SW 31 and Pennsylvania Avenue. The man did not suffer serious injuries, fire officials said.

A man who was asleep in his home when it caught fire early Saturday morning was rescued by Oklahoma City firefighters.

The fire broke out about 2 a.m. at SW 31 and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Fire officials said the man, whose name was not released, did not suffer serious injuries. They also said the home did not sustain substantial damage.
