Oklahoma City homicide numbers are on track to be lowest in 10 years

In the first seven months of the year, Oklahoma City recorded 33 homicides, a 4.7 average per month. At this rate, total homicides for 2014 are headed toward 56.4. Totals haven’t been below 57 since 2004 when the city experienced 51 homicides.
