Oklahoma City is hosting a free collection event Saturday for residents to dispose of unwanted ammunition, computers, tires and prescription drugs, according to a city news release.

The event, part of the city's recognition of Earth Month in April, is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the south side of State Fair Park. Those interested in going are asked to enter the park off N May Avenue at Gate 5 on Gordon Cooper Boulevard.

Residents must show a current water bill stub to prove they live in Oklahoma City.

The items dropped off at the event will be recycled. Syringes, liquids, inhalers, tire rims and wheels will not be accepted, according to a news release.
