A third man has been arrested, Oklahoma City police said.

Manuel Leon Sanchez, 21, of Oklahoma City, died shortly before 1 a.m. at Integris Southwest Medical Center, police said.

Sanchez and Maxwell Marvin McIntyre, 18, of Oklahoma City, were stabbed during an altercation at 4212 S Stiles before being taken to the hospital in a private vehicle, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

William Michael Thompson, 24, of Oklahoma City, was arrested on complaints of murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

Police had been sent to the hospital on an unrelated call when the stabbing victims arrived.

McIntyre remains hospitalized this afternoon and is expected to survive, police said.

Investigators spoke with witnesses and determined an altercation led to the two victims being stabbed, Wardlow said.

Thompson was interviewed by homicide investigators and booked into Oklahoma County jail.
