Oklahoma City man drowns in Lake Thunderbird
NORMAN — An Oklahoma City man drowned late Thursday or early this morning at Lake Thunderbird , the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Johnny Ray Montoya , 36, went into the lake about 11:30 p.m. Thursday. His body was recovered in less than 10 feet of water about 3:35 p.m. today, according to a patrol report.
The cause of the drowning and whether or not alcohol was involved was not indicated in the report.
