Oklahoma City man faces manslaughter complaint in wife's shooting death

Oklahoma City police say a man was reckless with a gun and killed his wife. He will face a manslaughter complaint, police said.

An Oklahoma City man will be jailed on a manslaughter complaint in the Monday shooting death of his wife once he is released from a hospital, police report Thursday.

Bernard Eugene Morris, 57, faces the complaint in the death of Cynthia Morris, 53, police said.

Investigators say Bernard Morris handled a firearm in a careless and reckless manner in the couple's home Monday, resulting in his wife's death.

Morris suffered chest pains at the scene Monday and was hospitalized. He will be taken to jail after he is released, police report.
