Oklahoma City police arrested a man after a neighbor reported the man threatened to kill the neighbor's dog.

Travis Lee Richardson, 29, was arrested on a complaint of disobeying a lawful command and a pedestrian violation about 11:50 p.m. Monday, according to an incident report released Wednesday.

The neighbor reported to police that Richardson approached the neighbor and said he would go get his pit bull, go back to the neighbor's house and have his pit bull kill the neighbor's dog, according to the report.

Dog was friendly

The neighbor's dog is a Pomeranian-terrier mix, and police said the dog was “very friendly and nonaggressive.”

While police questioned him, Richardson became belligerent toward police and began yelling obscenities at officers, police reported.
