A man convicted in June of the murders of his estranged wife and her unborn child was sentenced to death Monday morning.
Fabio DeMargio Brown, 26, was convicted in June by an Oklahoma County jury. They chose a death sentence.
Brown was convicted of hiring a hitman to shoot 23-year-old Jessica Brown in the head while she slept inside her Midwest City home. The couple’s two children were inside the house at the time.
Brown, who represented himself at trial, is appealing the decision. A motion presented Monday morning to set aside the jury verdict was overruled.
