A man who was left quadriplegic from a 2004 Oklahoma City shooting has died and police are investigating his death as a homicide.

Adam Talamantes, 26, was found unresponsive Saturday at his residence by a family member after he spent more than 10 years bedridden since he was shot. The family member called 911, but Talamantes was pronounced dead at the house, police said.

On May 29, 2004, Talamantes was shot in the 1200 block of W Park Place by an unknown person. Talamantes was then brought to St. Anthony Hospital by friends, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

One suspect was taken into questioning after the shooting, but no arrests have been made, Wardlow said.
