Oklahoma City man, wife fight off armed robbers inside home

An Oklahoma City man and his wife last week fought off gun-wielding robbers as their children slept in the room next door, police said.

About 2 a.m. Thursday, the man was using the bathroom at his home in the 1000 block of S Fairmont Avenue when one of the robbers pointed a chrome pistol at his head, saying, “I will kill you,” according to a police report. The man fought with the robber and called for his wife, ...
